Now Accepting Applications for the ISAR Chu Family Foundation Scholarships

The International Society for Antiviral Research (ISAR), in partnership with The Chu Family Foundation (TCFF), is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Chu Family Foundation Scholarships.


These awards were established to support the professional development of early career women with the potential for significant contributions in antiviral research.


Award Details:

  • Up to three scholarships awarded annually

  • $3,000 stipend to support specialized training, workshops, lab visits, or courses

  • 2-year ISAR membership

  • Commemorative plaque

  • Winners are invited to attend the next ICAR meeting in Prague, Czech Republic to receive their award.


Eligibility:

  • Open to women scientists who are either Graduate students or Doctoral degree holders with ≤4 years of cumulative postdoctoral experience.

  • Applicants must be conducting research in virology, chemistry, molecular biology, or related antiviral fields.

  • Both applicants and their mentors must be ISAR members.
