Deadline to submit candidates: February 25, 2026

The aim of the International Society of Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic acids (IS3NA} is to bring together researchers on the chemistry and biology of nucleosides, nucleotides, oligonucleotides/nucleic acids.

At the end of August 2026, the Society will organize the 26th International Round Table on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic acids in Barcelona, Spain (http://www.irt2026.com). Following the by-laws of our society, it is the time to renovate the IS3NA Board of Directors by selecting the new vice-president for the period 2027-2028, who will be nominated during our biannual meeting in Barcelona.

For this reason, we organize this call for candidates between the members of the society. In this occasion we would like to simplify the process by including small changes in the procedure. Candidates can be nominated between members who have been involved in IS3NA and would like to take responsibilities on the guidance of our society. The names of potential candidates should be sent to the president (ramon.eritja@iqac.csic.es) up to February 25, 2026. These candidates will be analyzed by the Board of Directors who will rank the candidates internally.
