Welcome to IS3NA

An organization devoted to study of Nucleosides, Nucleotides, & Nucleic Acids

The International Society of Nucleosides, Nucleotides & Nucleic Acids emerged in the new millennium as an offspring of a continuous chain of successful biennial meetings that were known as international Round Tables (see IS3NA history). The IS3NA attempts to bring together scientists in areas as diverse as chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, synthetic biology, biochemistry, molecular and structural biology, virology, pharmacology, pharmacy and medicine, all interested in working in the field of nucleic acid chemistry, encompassing the individual units, nucleosides and nucleotides, as well as the important biopolymers of life: RNA and DNA.

Travel Awards for the Paris Roud Table:

A very limited number of travel Awards are available through the IS3NA to young participants with restricted budgets who submit an abstract for encouraging them to attend and present their work as an oral or a poster presentation in the  International Roundtable on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids in Paris.

To be eligible for the award, an individual must be a student currently pursuing doctoral course degree or a young researcher in a post-doctoral position. Moreover, he or her needs to be a member of the IS3NA.

Should travel assistance be needed, please inform us by e-mail ( and provide the details of your situation, a recommandation letter of a supervisor, an estimation of the cost of the travel, along with a copy of the selected abstract(s).
